Konu Özeti: Frequency of Actions

Bu ünite, bir eylemin ne sıklıkta yapıldığını İngilizce ifade etmeyi konu alır. Geniş zaman (Present Simple) ile birlikte kullanılır.

Sıklık zarfları (sıklık sırasına göre): always (%100), usually, often, sometimes, rarely/seldom, never (%0). Bu zarflar esas fiilden önce, “be” fiilinden sonra gelir. Örnek: I sometimes go to the gym. He is always busy.

Sıklık ifadeleri (cümle sonunda): once a day (günde bir), twice a week (haftada iki), three times a month (ayda üç), every morning (her sabah).

“How often” sorusu: Sıklığı sormak için kullanılır. Örnek: How often does she visit her grandmother? — She visits her once a month.

Yüzde ile ifade: Bazı metinlerde sıklık yüzdeyle de gösterilir; örneğin “always” %100, “usually” yaklaşık %80, “sometimes” %50 civarıdır.
