Geniş zaman kuralı: Özne I/you/we/they ise fiil yalın; he/she/it ise fiile -s/-es eklenir. Örnek: I get up at 7. She gets up at 8. Olumsuz: don’t / doesn’t; soru: Do / Does.

Zaman ifadeleri: in the morning (sabahları), in the afternoon (öğleden sonra), at night (geceleri), every day (her gün), at seven o’clock (saat yedide).

Saat sorma: What time do you get up? — I get up at half past six.
